"Mo' better rootz" is the third Vavamuffin studio album. It's a kind of summary of the last three years of the band's activity.
You can find there memories from band's trips to Ethiopia, the USA, Italy or Scandinavia, an overview of Warsaw's everyday life and comments on Polish politics and plenty of regular and simple fun with music and lyrics.
The record features many guests, like: Crispy Horns (the legendary Zion Train brass section), Tomasz Glazik (Kult, Buldog, 4 Syfon, El Doopa, Contemporary Noise Quintet), Sir Michu (producer and coauthor of the successful recent albums of Tede i Warszawski Deszcz), or Vienio the living legend of Warsaw rap.
"Mo' better rootz" has 14 tracks from classical roots reggae through dancehall and to 2step and etno jazz. This journey takes you to the source of reggae and ragamuffin but you still need the ticket with the Warsaw mermaid on it. For dancing and listening. The best Vavamuffin record so far.
The premiere of the record is on Friday 13th August 2010 during Ostróda festival, on Karrot Kommando Day.
For those who don't go to Ostróda: you can order the album on karrot.pl. Do it fast and it will be sent to you the day before the premiere.
