The Band Of Endless Noise

music: postpunk, psychodelic

country: Poland

shows: 8

date/period: 09.04 - 16.10.2005

Info:

The Band Of Endless Noise has been around for about 5 years. It's a seven-piece now and its members are scattered all over Poland (and sometimes even Europe) but its roots are in a small Silesian town known as Racibórz. Its favourite activity is playing gigs. A usual gig lasts the average of 100 minutes (which normally means more than one minute per one person in the audience) and consists of about ten tracks most of which are the so-called "new tracks". The tracks in question come from the forthcoming album entitled "Riders On The Bikes" which is due out in September 2004 on the best (!) Polish independent label Post Post Records. It's going to be our second full-length record. Compared to the first one there are more regular members playing (6 of them). We have got 12 tracks on it, most of them being electro-acoustic songs and others simply some noisy interludes of either acoustic or electronic nature. Some of them you can dance to. You can hear the sound of guitars, drums, percussion, Fender Rhodes, accordion, balhama and some electonics (most of the time simultaneously). We also like to sing from time to time.

As far as our other future plans go, we are going to make a video or two so that our families and friends see us on TV one day. We would also like to play some gigs outside Poland, which has not been the case so far even though our first CD was distributed by Tamizdat (worldwide (?)) and Revolver (USA). The most shameful thing about the Band Of Endless Noise is that some of its members like Pink Floyd. And we hate being called BOEN.
